It was when I was about 33 weeks pregnant. On February 3rd, my stomach hurt since early morning, but without recognizing it as labor, I visited the hospital I usually went to for a routine checkup. The test results showed my blood pressure had risen to 163?170. Due to preeclampsia, I was advised to go to a larger hospital.
I immediately moved to another hospital, but even there, I was told that a transfer to a university hospital was necessary due to a shortage of pediatric medical staff. Through several processes, I moved to a university hospital in Ilsan and gave birth to the twins. The doctor told me, "If it had been just a little later, it would have been a very dangerous situation."
The twins were about 1.8kg and 1.3kg each, and though they were premature babies born at 33 weeks?about 2 months earlier than the due date?contrary to worries, both babies were capable of self-breathing, maintained a stable condition, and ate formula well. When I met the children for the first time in a wheelchair after giving birth, seeing the babies looking very peaceful, I could feel that God's grace and pastor Soojin Lee's power had come upon them.
Looking back, prior to the delivery, on January 24th of this year, the 3rd Grand Great Parish to which I belong attended the New Year's meeting with pastor Soojin Lee. At that time, I had received a recommendation from the hospital to take a rest because my cervical length was short, but I attended with the heart of 'not wanting to miss the time of blessing.' I asked pastor Soojin Lee to touch my stomach just once, and she personally prayed for the twins to be born healthy. I believe that through the prayer, the entire process went smoothly.
After the delivery, the babies showed such a fast recovery that the doctor said, "It is rare for premature babies to be in such good condition," and they were discharged in good health after receiving treatment in the incubator for about 3 weeks. I also returned to normal levels in blood pressure and anemia, and I am spending a healthy and happy daily life with my children. Hallelujah!
