Three months after the founding of Chennai Manmin Church, it feeds church members with the word of life like other branch churches in Korea and is laying a firm foundation as a native and local church.
Many pastors who had attended the 2002 India Miracle Healing Prayer Festival and had known our senior pastor Rev. Dr. Lee sometimes participated in the services of Chennai Manmin Church and invited me to deliver the message at their own churches.
As a result of last year's election for the House of Representatives, DMK (National Democratic Alliance) party, which sides with Christianity, became a majority party in Tamil Nadu state, and Hinduism, more than 90 % of the religion in India, has fallen gradually. Last year two major Hindu leaders gave many Hindus a big shock because of their scandal in Hindu temples, and a few weeks ago more than 356 illegal Hindu temples in the city of Madurai, Tamil Nadu were forcefully cleared away according to the urgent decision of the high court.
The preparation of the 2nd International Christian Medical Conference that will be held in Taj Hotel in Chennai, India in May under the main title "Spirituality and Medicine" has been fine and it is expected that more than 500 medical doctors, nurses, and medical college students from 30 overseas countries will join.
In the session of divine healing, various cases of diseases healed by the power of God through the prayer of Rev. Dr. Jaerock Lee will be announced along with the medical data confirmed by medical doctors. We are praying for the successful conference and its effective impact on India.
